MediaTemple MySql issues
Seems that my MediaTemple mysql database went down. Again, there was no incident report on their website. I had to call to find out that they knew about the issue.
I’m starting to think that the “grid” isn’t a grid at all.

I’ve been similarly unimpressed with their transparency. Today, the grid has been running approximately 10x as slow as usual (for my site), and only when i opened a support ticket was i able to find the system incident…
1.5 hours later they posted again to the incident indicating things have cleared up (which they haven’t).

There was this guy see.
