Lucky blog readers
Hi,
UPDATE: Don’t forget to leave something in the comments or shoot me an email, or else we can’t do nuttin’
If anyone is interested in beta testing new AJAX polls from Quimble, shoot me an email or leave a comment on here and most likely you’ll be able to very soon. I have some issues, but it’s mostly worked out I think. Hopefully we can put it to the test.
UPDATE: oops… looks like these aren’t working in IE yet. Working on it.
UPDATE 2: IE functionality seems to work now
Thanks!
UPD: Script removed for now

Just to let you know. In Camino 1.0b2 (with vanilla settings I think), I get a vertical scrollbar. It’s only a matter of 1 or 2 pixels I think. Also, after voting, I see some sort of ’shadows’ on 10px from the left and from the bottom. This is also be done by camino I think. Do you have access to a mac?
This is very good work. Users get a nice poll, Quimble gets free promotion.
I just voted while typing this reply. Ofcourse, it works (I know the technology), but it’s still a remarkable nice experience!

I think the widget ought to remember that you voted (or make this optional for the poll owner). If you make it ip-based it works regardless of cookie settings.

Thanks! I’m working on it. I develop on a Mac and I see what you’re saying. I think the shadows are from “non-active”scroll bars… but I’ll work on the other stuff.
